Hi everybody. This is Anette from norwegianclass101.com, today, we are looking at 10 Must Know Math Words. So let’s get started.
1. Matte "math"
Matte er mitt yndlingsfag. "Math is my favorite subject."
Which is not really true but um.
2. Nummer "number"
Hvilket nummer har du på lappen? "What number do you have on your note?"
3. Halv "half"
Halve brødet ligger på bordet. "Half the bread is on the table."
4. Present "percent"
Denne er på 50 prosent avslag. "This is 50% off."
5. Fjerdedel "fourth"
Dette er en fjerdedel av kaken. "This is a fourth of the cake."
And that is the piece of cake.
6. Odde "odd"
3 er et oddetall. "3 is an odd number."
7. Pluss "plus"
Pluss og minus er det letteste i matte. "Plus and minus is the easiest in math."
8. Minus "minus"
5 minus 2 er 3. "5 minus 2 is 3."
9. Ganger "times"
2 ganger 4 er 8. "2 times 4 is 8."
10. Dele "to divide"
Kan du dele dette eplet i to? "Can you divide this apple in half?"
