Hello everybody and welcome to Top Norwegian words. Today, we are going to look at 10 Phrases for Surviving Back to School.

1. Ryggsekk "backpack"

Pappa, kan jeg få en ny ryggsekk til skolestart? "Dad, can I have a new backpack for the start of school?"

Vær så snill. "Please."

2. Klassekamerat "classmate"

Jeg liker mange av de nye klassekameratene mine. "I like many of my new classmates."

3. Lekser "homework"

Jeg har gjort ferdig leksene mine for dagen. "I have finished my homework for the day."

4. Eksamen "exam"

Jeg har eksamen om tre uker. "I have exams in three weeks."

Oh no, no time to read.

5. Sommerferie "summer break"

Sommerferien er over... "Summer break is over..."

My favorite part of the year and it’s over.

6. Skole "school"

Det var kjedelig på skolen i dag. "School was boring today."

No worries. We only have fun lessons here.

7. Studere "study"

Jeg studerer business. "I study business."

Let’s get down to business.

8. Det er første dagen med timer. "It's the first day of class.

So exciting with another semester starting, right?

9. Vi er i samme klasse! "We're in the same class!

But luckily it’s only once a week. Huh! Huh! Huh!

10. Hvilke timer tar du? "What classes are you taking?

Norwegian of course!
