Brandon: And welcome to Culture Class: Essential Norwegian Vocabulary, Lesson 9! In this lesson you'll learn five essential words related to society and culture. Brandon: This fiddle is often used to play traditional Norwegian music. It has eight or nine strings and is made of thin wood that’s decorated with animal carvings. The famous Edvard Grieg used a hardanger fiddle in many of his compositions.
