Michael: Here's a way to ask 'Why are you late?' in Norwegian.

Michael: First is a word meaning 'why'

Michael: Now it's time for a quick language tip.
Inger: A common expression in Norwegian is Hvorfor ikke? which means, "Why not?" You can use it to accept an invitation you are not really keen to accept—if it was not planned in advance. For example, if a friend suddenly invites you to go to the movies, you can answer Hvorfor ikke?
